Editorial

Editorial Policy

These are the standards every piece of Trading Quarters content is held to — and the standards readers should hold us to.

Accuracy

Facts are checked before publication against the sources that govern them — terms of service, fee schedules, regulatory registers — and important facts are labelled with an evidence status so readers can see how each was established. Where we are uncertain, we say so. Where we were wrong, we correct it under the corrections policy.

Sourcing

Primary sources come first: governing documents, regulator registers, official disclosures and our own testing. Secondary sources may add context but never substitute for primary verification of a material claim. Articles list their sources with access dates. We do not source facts from other review sites, forums or unverifiable testimonials.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions — what to cover, what to conclude, how to score — are made on evidence alone. Providers cannot pay for coverage, pay to improve a score, preview articles before publication, or pay to remove accurate criticism.

Conflicts of interest

Anyone writing or reviewing content must disclose personal interests in covered providers — accounts held, tokens owned, past employment — and material conflicts are either disclosed in the article or resolved by reassigning the work.

Affiliate relationships

Some links may generate compensation, as described in the affiliate disclosure. The wall between that revenue and editorial judgment is absolute: verdicts and scores are settled before commercial links are attached, affiliate status never affects placement in a ranking, and articles containing affiliate links carry a visible notice.

Updates

Articles display the date their facts were last verified. Fast-moving facts — fees, bonus terms, partner codes — are re-checked on a regular cycle, and material changes are recorded in each article's update history.

Corrections

Confirmed factual errors are corrected promptly, with material corrections displayed visibly on the affected article. The full process, including how to report an error, is described in the corrections policy.

Prohibited claims

Trading Quarters content never includes:

  • Promises or implications of guaranteed profit.
  • "Risk-free" descriptions of any trading product or offer.
  • Universal recommendations — no service is "best for everyone".
  • Fabricated urgency: countdown timers, "claim before it disappears", or "limited time" wording without a documented end date.
  • Invented statistics, testimonials, user counts or awards.
  • Repetition of provider marketing claims as fact without verification.

Responsible financial language

Trading involves real risk, and our language reflects that. Reviews present risk information with the same prominence as benefits, describe leveraged products in terms of what can be lost, treat bonus credit as conditional rather than free money, and never frame trading as a path to reliable income. Content is general information, not personal financial advice — the financial risk warning applies across the site.
