Head-to-head and category comparisons built from the same verified data as our reviews — so a 'winner' means something specific, for a specific kind of trader.
How winners will be determined
- Comparisons only use facts already verified for the individual reviews — the same figures, from the same sources.
- Each comparison names its criteria upfront and scores services criterion by criterion.
- Category winners are chosen by evidence across the four Quarter Score areas, weighted for the use case the article states.
- Verdicts name who a service is good for and who it is not — never 'best for everyone'.
- Commercial relationships play no role in rankings, and every comparison carries a verification date.
How the scoring works
Everything in this section will be assessed with the Quarter Score — the same four evidence-based areas applied to every service: safety & regulation, fees & value, platform & features, and funding & support.
Trading Quarters is currently preparing its first independently researched reviews.
Comparisons will follow the first individual reviews, since honest side-by-sides require verified data on both sides.
Every future publication will state its methodology, sources and verification date. Until then, you can read how the work will be done:
